Getting started with WebDAV


To use WebDAV, you must have connection to a server with WebDAV capability. That includes:
  • Microsoft IIS 5 (included with Windows 2000)
  • Apache (with mod_dav module installed)
  • Novell NetWare 5.1 (announced January 10, 2000)

    • A Web team could work on a WebDAV production server in house and then use Adobe GoLive's FTP feature to upload the site to a public server without WebDAV capability. Alternatively, both the production site and the public site could reside on a WebDAV server and the two sites could be synchronized as necessary using Adobe GoLive's WebDAV and workgroup features.
